Title: All for Love
Summary: Far future BA total
fluff.
“Bruiser has to go to the
bathroom,” Buffy said with a
sigh as she flopped
dramatically on the couch, a
tiny black ball of fluff
clutched to her chest.
Angel quirked an eyebrow at
Buffy and regarded her
position on the couch. When
she was being dramatic it
could only mean one
thing…she expected him to
fix whatever was wrong.
“The dog doesn’t even like
me…what do you expect me to
do about it?”
“Well…you could take him
out…” Buffy suggested, a
pout just beginning to form.
“Buffy…the dog doesn’t walk
and last time I picked him
up he bit me,” Angel looked
at her like she was insane.
“It was a love bite,” Buffy
insisted.
“He drew blood and there
were teeth marks in my hand
for nearly an entire day,”
Angel gave her a flat look.
“Don’t be a baby. You’re a
vampire. Please…it’s cold
outside. There’s snow and
inside there’s a nice fire
and hot chocolate and I’m
dry.” The pout was in full
force now.
Angel sighed, growled under
his breath and stood up. He
shoved his feet into his
boots and got his coat out
of the closet, muttering
under his breath the whole
time.
“Don’t listen to him,
Bruiser. He’s just a grumpy,
old vampire,” Buffy
whispered to the puppy. The
dog licked her face in
return, making her giggle.
Angel stalked over to the
couch where Buffy sat and
held his hands out for the
fluff ball of terror. Buffy
kissed the puppy on the head
and passed him over to
Angel. The dog immediately
started growling and trying
to bite at Angel’s hands.
Buffy stood up from the
couch and caught Angel by
the tail of his coat,
pulling him back to her. She
kissed him on the cheek.
“Thank you,” she cooed and
curled back up on the couch
in front of the fire place.
Angel growled again and took
the dog out to the back
yard. He stood in the snow
and watched as the puff ball
ran around in the snow. “The
things I do for love,” he
grumbled to the dog.
