All That I Am
The dirt is my home.
My life began here.
It is a large dome,
That holds all my fear.
The flowers are my gift,
From the God up above.
My spirit uplifts.
My heart’s full of love.
The trees are my shield.
They protect me from bad,
As I run through the fields,
Like something gone mad.
The mountain is my way,
To reach to the sky.
At the top I will stay.
With my soul I will cry.
I am the flower,
Which begins as a seed.
It grows with much power,
But no one ever sees.
I am the tree,
So tall and so proud.
The skies, so free,
Are mine ‘till you cut me
down.
I am the mountain,
Which has never been seen.
I would like to obtain,
The solitude I seek.
I am the Earth.
All are my friends.
I will always give birth,
To many new lands.
Everything I am,
Is in you too.
All that I am,
Is up to you.
